IS JESUS SILENT?
Have you ever wondered if Jesus really hears your prayers or simply ignores them? Have you ever felt that He has given up on you because you cannot feel His presence or see an immediate answer to your prayers?

IS JESUS SILENT?
Life is full of questions circling around uncertainty, standing in unknown paths, wondering silently. We often ask ourselves, “Does Jesus really hear our prayers, or does He simply ignore them? At times, a part of us begins to wonder, “What if God never listens?” We may think this way when doubt begins to take hold of our hearts and our faith feels uncertain. Yet, sometimes, in these moments of uncertainty that faith learns to trust what the heart cannot see. God’s presence is not measured by what we immediately see or feel. He often works in ways beyond our understanding and according to His perfect will.
One of the meaningful and reflective messages shared by Fr. Jay that prayer works in three ways; First, prayer works at his perfect timing, not your timeline. If you feel God does not listen to your prayer and always wondering, "Why things did not work out?” “Why am I not enough?” or “Why does it always fail?” We tend to ask “Why?” rather than “How?” simply because we are rushing and becoming impatient. However, God’s timing is different from ours. What we consider a delay may actually be part of His plan.
Second, reflect and have a deeper faith. God wants us to reflect on our words, actions and especially in our prayers. Maybe our prayers are not answered in the way we expect because we are praying for the things we want rather than trusting what God knows is best for us. We tend to ask and pray for our own benefit instead of believing in what he can give and show to us. We are being impatient, impulsive and even lose hope easily. In short, we easily give up. God wants us to have a deeper faith, believe and trust according to his own way. Every rejection has a redirection, and it always have a purpose.
Third, growth must have trust. Just like a seed, growth takes time, consistency, and care really matters. God wants us to lean on Him, trust Him wholeheartedly, and continue praying even when the answer is not what we expect. By reflecting positively on our current situations, we become better positioned to appreciate and make the most of what we have, regardless of our circumstances.
So, when Jesus seems silent, do not immediately think that He has forgotten you. Silence does not mean absence. Delay does not mean denial. Sometimes, God is working quietly behind the scenes, preparing us for something we are not yet ready to understand.
Let’s trust His way, His timing, and, most essentially, His plan. No one knows what He is working on, but we can be assured that it will be worth it.
